Design of a coffee table book dedicated to Mykonos — a deeply personal visual testament by Yiorgos Kordakis to the island of the winds.

Conceived as a creative love letter to the Mykonian summer, the book explores the island as a living organism, where past and present coexist in quiet balance. Through carefully curated photographic sessions and a contemporary editorial approach, it captures the duality of Mykonos — from nonchalant bohemia to enduring jet-set culture.

The design places emphasis on strong, full-bleed imagery, allowing photographs to lead the narrative, while text is used sparingly and with restraint. Three distinct cover designs were created, each addressing different target audiences through varied imagery and color palettes.

The result is a refined publication that stands confidently alongside titles from established international publishing houses, offering a thoughtful visual study of the island’s untainted soul.
